viv_the_artist@yahoo.com BioI am a surrealist painter. I tend to lean towards social commentary in my art, but not always. This is my blog specifically for my art, works in progress and finished works. The idea is to give a behind-the-scenes look at a painting as it is being worked on. I know I've looked at paintings in museums and I've wondered how on earth a person would go about creating such a thing. Heck, sometimes I've looked at my own work and could not remember the journay from point 'A' to the finish. That is why I started this journal... well that and knowing that someone, anyone, is waiting to see my painting finished, gives me more push to actually finish them.
